#2. DUMPING TRASH ON THAYER.
A resident in the 700 block of Thayer reports that for some weeks, someone driving south on Thayer on Friday nights has been throwing out trash from the car, including IN and OUT burger bags etc. If anyone in the 600 or 700 blocks has a front security camera, can they check it and advise if anything shows up as to who might be doing this.
# 3. BONE MARROW DONOR WANTED.
You may recall the recent search for a donor for Toni Gray, a long time HWPOA Board member.
David Hekmat (Mary & Robb's) asked if we would send this out to our members. Sandy agreed. This boy is from a very prominent family in England and they haven't been able to find anyone in Europe. So, they are trying to cover the states.
The email request was received too late for the donation center email address if interested you can contact their donor email listed below.

# 4. PROPOSED LA CITY MURAL ORDINANCE
The City Council will soon be taking up revisions to existing Municipal Code regulations regarding installations of wall murals. The effort to amend the existing regulations date back some years and was quietly passed by the Council Planning and Land Use Committee.
Most recently it was proposed that such wall murals not be allowed in R1 zones and certain sized multi family bldgs. At present the proposed ordinance fails to specifically restrict wall murals in single family zones. The proposed ordinance is complex and community groups throughout the City have reacted negatively to the Ordinace revisions and the potential to open such murals to potentially broader site locations including R` zonea.
The HWPOA Board will be reviewing the proposed Ordinance and it's expected, will file a written objection to a Mural Ordinance that would allow wall murals on single family homes.
# 5. NEW COUNCIL DEPUTY PENDING.
Sarah Mallory, the HW and Westwood area deputy for Councilmember Koretz is leaving in mid July for New York to pursue further education. Sarah has done a terrific job handling various Holmby Westwood issues. We will miss her and wish her the best in her new adventure.
