1.  BURGLARS KICKING IN DOOR JAMBS
We have been informed of several daytime home-invasions that occurred in Westwood Hills, the neighborhood on the west side of UCLA.  In several instances, two men broke down the front door jamb and entered homes that had a locked and double-bolted front door. The wooden trim around the front door was easy to break into; the front door was untouched.
The WHPOA has contacted the LAPD and requested that a special task force address this situation.  Officers are aware of the crimes and additional patrols are being directed to the area.
